Freight Payment Services

March 1, 2008 began the 'dawning' of Standard Transportation's freight bill auditing and payment service.  The development of this service was in response to a customer's need for an innovative, professional, third-party logistics provider (3PL) to provide accurate, timely payment of freight invoices, and provide for post-audit review of those invoices.  Initial findings indicate potential savings on  transportation costs of up to 45%!

This new service is offered to our clients in phases.

Phase I    - Provides for the processing and payment of client's freight invoices in an
                                 accurate and timely manner.

Phase II   - Includes the review of the client's current carriers, their contracts, tariffs, and
rules, recommendations concerning bills of ladings and descriptions, and
the post audit of freight invoices for accuracy.

Phase III  - Involves the production of an unbiased monthly report based on our findings,
including our recommendations for carrier routings to and from your vendors
                                  and customers.

Phase  IV  - The development of both a core carrier base, and alternative carriers.  The
establishment of a routing guide for vendors and customers utilizing the core
carrier base.  Providing for the monitoring of client's National Motor Freight
Classification (NMFC) classes for correct application verses the
transportation provider's discounts, rules and freight-all-kinds (FAK) rates.

Phase V    -  Allows Standard Transportation Services to provide the client with total
logistics services involving the dispatch and monitoring of truckload (TL),
                                   less-than-truckload (LTL), inter-modal, and time-critical transportation
shipments.  If required, provisions will also be made for a client's complete
warehousing and local transportation (drayage) needs.

Allow us the opportunity to demonstrate to you how Standard Transportation Services can save you on your transportation costs, while providing you more time to devote to your primary business function.
